WOOD WAS HONORED.
Local Leaders Will Represent Federation at London

Wood was received here Thursday that James Wood of this city, who is the fourth vice president of the International Cigarmakers' union, had been appointed delegate to represent the American Federation of Labor at the convention of the Trades and Labor Congress of Great Britain, which will be held in London next year.  The position was one of the choicest offered at the recent A. F. of L. convention at San Francisco, and the Cincinnati man was the subject of many congratulations.  John A. Moffet, president of the United Hatters' union, was elected delegate to accompany Wood.

Banquet For Kehl

John E. Kehl, a Cincinnatian, who is United States consul at Stettin, Germany, will be banqueted Saturday evening by a number of friends who are members of the Stamina Republican league.  Consul Kehl was active in Stamina affairs before President McKinley appointed him to his present office eight years ago.

Mrs. Humphrey Gone.

Mrs. Jeanette Humphrey has returned to Wheeling, W. Va.  It develops Mrs. Humphrey did not go to the home of her father, Robert T. Skinner at 2226 Park avenue, when she arrived in Cincinnati Wednesday morning, but instead became the guest of Mrs. A. J. Miles at the Hotel Gillespie.  It is stated that Mrs. Humphrey's first intention was to remain in Cincinnati until developments decided her future relations with her husband.  Friends say if the separation is permanent, Mrs. Humphrey will not apply for divorce at this time.
