SINGING IS A FEATURE OF MEETING
Welcome to Bishop Spellmeyer a Big Event.
Maennerchor and Epworth League to Participate in the Music.
Imposing List of Vice Presidents Selected from Prominent Methodists.

Singing by a male chorus of 100 from the Maennerchor, Cincinnati’s famous German Singing society, will be one of the features of the welcome meeting to be held at Music Hall December 18 for Bishop Henry Spellmeyer, Dr. Davis W. Clark, permanent chairman of the Committee of Arrangements, arranged Friday with the Maennerchor, and rehearsals will begin at once under direction of Henry Dickhaut, Theodore Bauer, and C. W. Walker, and the general supervision of H. W. Crawford, chairman of music arrangements of the meeting.  Another feature of the music at the meeting will be the singing of their own especial hymn,

“FAITH OR OUR FATHERS,”
by the District Epworth league, comprising all the Epworth league members of Cincinnati and vicinity.  Dr. Clark announces that printed invitations will be sent to all the Protestant ministers of Cincinnati and vicinity, and the ministers will be invited to announce from their pulpits an invitation to all the members of their congregations to attend the public welcome to Bishop Spellmeyer.  An imposing array of prominent Methodists of Cincinnati and vicinity has been made vice chairmen of the Music Hall meeting.
